2010 Charlotte Pinot Noir 750 ml
2010 Charlotte Pinot Noir
Charlotte is fashioned using grapes exclusively harvested from the high-density, low-yield, upper blocks in the vineyard. Caring no more than four to six clusters per vine, the intensity of this wine began in the vineyard. The 2010 Charlotte is intense … deep, rich and wonderful in the mouth.
Enjoyment begins in the eyes … with deep garnet and ruby hues. Rich earthy tones underlie the aromatics redolent of strawberry rhubarb pie, tobacco, dark chocolate and plum. Flavors of black cherry, cola and hints of leather and spice explode on the palette with bright acidity followed by silky tannins and luscious fruit. While approachable now, this wine will cellar nicely. Drink now through 2027. Limited availability.
