2014 BELLA PINOT NOIR

The 2014 Bella Pinot Noir is a small lot wine specially crafted for our wine club members blending the best barrels of younger vine, volcanic soil, high-density Dijon 777 from the top of the vineyard and older vine, sedimentary soil, Dijon 115 from the bottom of the property.   The wine is beautiful in the glass, exhibiting Deep ruby hue with hints of sapphire. The aroma is rich with sandalwood, strawberry preserves and black raspberry, orange peel and cola.  The pallet is full of opulent fruit of blackberry, blueberry and plum, with hints of tobacco and nutmeg. The wine glides across the palate with balanced, bright acidity and silky tannins.  Approachable now, but will cellar nicely for years to come.
