2018 JACQUELINE'S 95pt RESERVE Pinot Noir 750 ml
2018 Jacqueline's Reserve Pinot Noir
Blended from the best of the best of our barrels, the 2018 vintage offers a magnificent reserve wine, the Jacqueline. Lovely Asian spice with hints of blueberry, blackberry and wild strawberry in the nose. The approach is rich and expansive with stone fruit and dark chocolate. Fantastic depth with fleshy tannins, the finish is long and lingering. This wine will improve with age.

"This wine offers a perfume of cedarwood, black cherries, orange zest, and a chocolate note reminiscent of Tootsie Pops. This Pinot Noir features gentle acidity, integrated tannins and a smooth, elegant texture. The wine’s flavors lean toward the tangy side, with cranberries and orange battling black tea and horehound candies for the spotlight" - Michael Alberty

"The 2018 Dukes Family Vineyard Jacqueline's Reserve Pinot Noir from Eola-Amity Hills displays a deep ruby core that fades into a shimmering garnet rim. This sophisticated selection, sourced from vines aged between 12 and 22 years and matured for 18 months in 50% new French oak, leads with a complex bouquet of cured tobacco leaf, Rainier cherry reduction, and purple incense. The medium-plus palate is defined by its velvety weight, weaving together flavors of Dutch cocoa and pomegranate before transitioning into a spice-driven mid-palate of star anise and freshly grated nutmeg. To fully appreciate its depth and supple tannic frame, serve this alongside a slow-roasted duck breast seasoned with five-spice and accompanied by a tart plum reduction to bridge the wine's savory and fruit-forward elements" - Jeremy Young
