2013 Jacqueline’s Reserve

This very special small lot bottling exhibits pure ruby tones from the glass. There are lovely notes of vanilla, dried roses and lavender, mingled with savory notes of tobacco and smoked meats. The palate is supple and savory with nice acidity and lush tannins. Enticing black cherry and sandalwood balance out the bright acidity and lead to a lingering finish backed up with supple tannins. This wine will continue to mellow and age beautifully for years to come, ten to fifteen years plus.

2014 Jacqueline’s Reserve

The color of this reserve wine is extraordinary with deep garnet and indigo undertones.  The nose is savory and sweet with smokey notes of dried cherries, sandalwood, roast meat and strawberry preserves. The palate is bright with balanced acidity and supple with lush tannins. Enticing notes of black cherry and spice of cinnamon and nutmeg.  This wine opens up beautifully in the glass and will continue to mellow and smooth out to an almost velvety feel. Jacqueline will cellar beautifully for years to come.

2016 Jacqueline’s Reserve

This very special bottling of Jacqueline’s Reserve is the deepest in color of the Pinot Noirs of this vintage, it is more purple than Red. Cerise aromas of strawberry and raspberry fruit, and a touch of smoke hit the nose first followed by the perfume of rosehips and tobacco.  The palate is all elegance and grace with silky tannins dancing languorously with sweet, juicy fruit.  The finish takes its time and arrives just in time for another gentle sip. This Pinot Noir will continue to mellow and age beautifully for years to come, ten to fifteen years plus.
