2015 Blanc de Blanc

Dukes Family Vineyards first foray into producing a sparkling wine in the Blanc de Blanc Style. Following the traditional production process known as the Méthode Champenoise where the wine undergoes a second fermentation process in the bottles to get its carbonation and is then aged under high pressure for an extended period of time.  An exercise in patience that has paid off.

With five years of bottle age, the acid in this pure Chardonnay sparkling wine is gracefully moving from fruit to maturity, adding a toastiness to its acidity and giving the wine richness.  The nose shows a lovely minerality with notes of wet stones, white peach, and orange zest. The approach is very enticing, mouthwatering, and crisp with a delicious lemon and green-apple freshness.  The rich mid palate adds to the elegant balance, leading to a finish that is bright and satisfying. This wine will continue to develop in bottle.

2015 & 2016 Sparkling Brut

Following the traditional production process known as the Méthode Champenoise where the wine undergoes a second fermentation process in the bottles to get its carbonation and is then aged under high pressure for an extended period of time.  An exercise in patience that has paid off.

These Bruts start off with grace, sophistication, and poise, exhibiting both a soft minerality in their core and an outward wonder for a gentle hint of fruit having a perfect mention of lemon zest, cinnamon, and brioche toast.  Their finish is smooth and satisfying, but just to the point of luring you into another sip. To truly experience these Sparkling Bruts wines is to glance at the tiny bubbles that keep erupting from the bottom of your glass while sharing with friends and family.   These wines will continue to develop in bottle.
