2019 Charlotte

The 2019 Charlotte, named after our first grandchild, is crafted using exclusively estate grapes harvested from the high-density, low-yield upper blocks of the vineyard. The intensity of this wine begins in the Vineyard. Deep, rich, and complex in the mouth.

Deep purple color with glints of pomegranate tones. The nose is also deep with notes of black plum, cedar, and sandalwood. The approach has a hint of sweetness with black cherry, tobacco and cola following up as the wine glides across the palate. The finish is savory and lingering with a sweet richness. Charlotte is just opening up to show us the beautiful fruit and spice still hiding inside.
