2021 Nipple Hill Pinot Noir
Lighter in color, but rich with full fruit flavor of sweet ripe strawberry and raspberry. Toasted marshmallow, dark cherry, orange peel and vanilla notes are layered with cedar and lavender on the nose. The approach is bright and juicy but turns spicy mid-palate with the spice of cardamom and nutmeg lingering into the finish.
Nipple Hill is crafted in an old-world style using one-ton French oak barrels serving as our fermentation vessels specifically for this wine. This style of winemaking adds complexity of layered essence in the profiles ending with beautifully integrated flavors and tannins.
