2018 BELLA 94pt Pinot Noir 750 ml
2018 Bella Pinot Noir
The 2018 Bella started fermentation and finished barrel ageing beautifully clean after 18 months in barrel and was bottled unfiltered. Lush, inimitable, and elegant in the glass. The aromatics speak of wild strawberries, fresh cut hay, hints of soft chocolate, leather, and lavender. The approach is sumptuous, bright, and balanced in the mouth with its expressive red fruit lifted by savory tannins balancing with vibrant acidity. This wine will benefit from time in the bottle ageing beautifully in your cellar for many years to come. But, after opening the first bottle during release in the fall of 2020 - wow! The 2018 wines are stunning!

“A combination of Rainier cherries, nutmeg, and raspberry-scone aromas are at once come forting and inviting. Rich red cherry, boysenberry, and toffee flavors are accented by the wine’s pantry spice combination of mace and cinnamon. Bella is, indeed, beautiful” - Michael Alberty

"The 2018 Dukes Family Vineyard Bella Pinot Noir, Eola-Amity Hills, sourced from vines ranging between 14 and 21 years of age, spent 18 months maturing in 50% new French oak before being bottled without filtration. High-toned perfumes of mountain raspberry and sun-warmed earth mingle with secondary notes of ground mocha powder, cedary herbs, and dried flowers. This sumptuous bottling showcases a vibrant acid line that carries flavors of tart red currant through a structured mid-palate defined by rugged, savory tannins"
